Nylon is a synthetic polymer, which is mainly composed of polyamide compounds and has a linear, amorphous polymer structure. Nylon's molecular chain contains amide bonds, which gives it high strength and wear resistance. Anti-static nylon is a modified nylon with an anti-static agent added to nylon.
